Eco-printing is a technique where plants and leaves leave their shapes, color, and marks on fabric, ceramic, or leather. Plant material bundled inside of cloth is steamed or boiled to release the dye found naturally inside the plant, creating a contact print in the shape of the leaf or plant used. The results are exceptional and unpredictable which make them an exciting and unique art form! This scarf was created in many steps, using fresh leaves. and background died in purple.
